Travel has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I've been fortunate to build a career doing what I love for over 26 years.
I began my journey in the travel industry in 2000 and have gained extensive experience across many areas of the business. I spent 17 years with one of South Africa's leading travel consortiums, followed by five years with another respected travel agency, where I worked as a Travel Consultant, Team Leader and Mentor, Corporate Travel Consultant, and in Finance. These roles gave me the knowledge and expertise to confidently launch my own business. In 2022, I turned my lifelong dream into reality by founding Mactrav. My passion is creating personalised travel experiences and providing honest advice, exceptional service and seamless travel planning from start to finish. Over the years, I've been fortunate to travel extensively, visiting destinations including Mauritius, Seychelles, Zanzibar, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Kenya, the Serengeti, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the United States, South Africa and Swaziland. Many of these trips were earned through incentive programmes in recognition of consistently achieving sales targets, giving me valuable first-hand destination knowledge that I love sharing with my clients.
